Strength and Capabilities
Thales Angenieux integrates all steps for lens manufacturing from design to assembly through three trade hearts: optics (polishing and coating), mechanics (machining), and electronics. The company is able to mobilize all of its resources and bring their customer the most innovative optical solution that responds the best to the request.
- Thales Angenieux can also rely on its local, national and international sub-contractors that have been selected to meet Angenieux requirements for high quality.
- Regarding Research and Development, Thales Angenieux is involved in ambitious European programs (Eurimus, Hidralon…), national programs (3D Live,…) and local programs (in relationship with local research laboratories of schools or universities, or with the Pôle Optique Rhône Alpes). Thales Angenieux can also rely on the Thales group resources.
- For 10 years already, Angenieux has worked on stereoscopy. Today, Angenieux is a major player in 3D development. The 3D contact is Patrick Defay.
